8 hours into his 6 in 1 injection, Wesley develops a low grade fever that lasted almost 36hours, i.e. 1.5 days. Really painful, he looks kinda sedated when he is down with fever, he does not box much. Thankfully, all is well now.
Loving our little angel more and more each time..never mind about the cries for milk, the crankiness, etc…It is all worth it.
One thing, I learnt this two months, nothing can prepare you for parenthood, unless you experience it yourself 1st hand, so, honestly, looking back in the past 2 months, patience is really key when dealing with a baby, I think in the past, if I am awoken in the middle of the night to change someone’s baby nappy or clean up his vomit, I probably will be so upset with that person waking me up. But, whenever Linda wakes me up nowadays, it is because she can’t cope anymore, she can’t soothe our little angel, she needed help because Wes puked, etc.
No amount of preparation can suffice for parenthood. So, if you ask me financially readiness for a baby is not essential but emotional readiness is absolutely essential, but easier said than done. So, don’t say you are ready till he or she arrive…
I wonder when will be the day come when he pokes me in the middle of the night and say Daddy, I’m hungry, can you go make me some milk? Haha…stop dreaming!!!
