Here I am ..still logon to the internet ..to blog this while waiting for my turn to see the doctor. What a difference a few days make, monday when I was in SGH to do my blood test, no one issued me a mask, today everyone is issued a mask and there are people posted to teach people how to wear a mask.
Anyhow, sitting here in the clinic, I see people from all walks of lives…some can’t be bothered to wear their masks, some very kiasi..and some doesn’t know how to wear masks..and some simply cannot be bothered…
Anyway, I think those who cannot be be bothered to wear a mask so be shot! It is not because that they might catch the disease more rather it is because they might pass on the germs to another person. I think wearing mask is a personal protection and what a responsible frog should toward our society at large. Anyhow, it is better safe than to be sorry

The super crowded place we went to during our visit in Taipei. It took us a day trip to see jiufen and jinquashi. Honestly, jiufen was quite a disappointment, I was hopping to see really old building, houses, etc but what greeted us was shopping and more shopping. Okay, admittedly the foodie was quite excellent.

Yup, the long awaited sequel of the transformer the movie. Can’t believe it is next week. This animation rocks. Check out the webbie below. I heard devastator is in as well. Devastator was one of my favourite transformer back then, formed by 5 decepticons robots. It really rock…back then the toy was simply too expensive. We shall see how the current version of devastator looks like.

Children’s Cancer Foundation – Hair For Hope.
Yup..I have taken the plunge to go bald on 5th July 2009. Trying the skin head thingie is always on my mind but I just could not muster enough courage to do it. Anyhow, since watching a documentary about shin and then reading her blog about fighting cancer. I have gained and extra insight into what it is like and yes, I did learn this event through her blog. Sadly, she has already left the world this february.
So, my readers are reading this, please kindly donate to the children cancer foundation cause. I think it is a good one and therefore I am participating this year.
Oh ya…you can go support the event too. It will be held at Novena Square on the 5th of July. See you there.

Iwagumi trial. The stones are picked from reservoirs..I think.
Linda did all the planting of the hairgrass while I did the rock placement and tying some of the mosses to the rocks.
Wonder how this tank will go?

Here’s how the tank looks one year after planting. I did not scrap off any algae before the photoshoot cos they come back faster than you can imagine. I believe that’s the Green Dust Algae that they talked about. I am going to be following Tom Barr’s method of ignoring the tank for 20 days and we shall see what happened next..seriously I am quite skeptical whether it will work but anyhow, I have exhausted all my means already. And that’s the most pesty thing in the whole tank that I am not able to deal with for a long while now.
The nitrate level is reading approximately 15ppm( light orange on my tetra nitrate test kit)
phosphate is approximately 0.1mg/l

I must have taken this shot like 6ish in the morning. This shot was taken not far off where we stayed at our ming shu, home stay run by locals in Taiwan.
Our homestay locality was in a middle of village sort of place, as you can see, plenty of rice fields all around and hence plenty of fresh air and it helps one relax and bring oneself closer to nature.
The mountain is not too far a distance too.
