Ermh…it is my birthday, yet again

Posted by diligo on December 20, 2006

Yes, it is my birthday yet again..time to sit down n reflect on the past year’s happening…the greatest achievement this year…not work.. that’s simply because my passion for my day job is totally dead..totally barren. I can’t stand the ‘wayang’ that I have to drag myself thru every single day and not to mention some dynastic style that I have to tolerate…it won’t be so bad if I was dealing with an ‘emperor’, a tryrant..but a eunuch??? Fat, Balding and lusty and some suspicion that he is corrupted…

Why your brother in law was invited to bid a job, when you know full well that he is aint qualified! And why is your nephew, working in the same team, he is totally unsuitable for the post! He must have moved heavens and earths to get that job since he is a total imbecile…not his fault but surely he belongs somewhere else….how on earth, he know about the job when there was no job posting in the 1st place, in anywhere…

I think I need to stop my bitching..else my mood for my birthday will be spoilt…Not going to let it…Will wash dirty laundry once I am out of the KNN T**n eunuch-dom!
Well, the greatest achievement this year, is having grown strength to strength with my ginger..

Well, my birthday wish…is to get the hell of the shit hole…asap…

X’mas Concert with Corrinne & my Dada

Posted by diligo on December 18, 2006

16th Dec 2006

What a day it was..the day prior…I was really having a terrible…diahorrea and a super messed up time at work…which really strengthen my resolve to leave the shitty place altogether…if there’s a birthday wish I wanna make..and have it come true..that would for me to be able to leave the sHitty Place altogether….

From blogstuff

Anyway, back to the concert…We arrived at the esplande at around 6.40pm…and there was this xmas performance going on..there was this nice gentleman who came along and ask if I wanted to dedicate a song that they will be performing to my gf…I said why not…since Ginger was in the ladies and she didn’t know!

Why we were at the esplande? For Corrinne May’s concert of course…it was my xmas day gift from Ginger..she knows how much we love Corrinne…the hours we sat in the little blue jazz listening to Corrinne May…And muacks to her for buying me the Xmas Album, the gift…

Ginger was so nicely dressed! Black top, blue jeans with a shawl from Sapa…and likewise I was in blue jean, black top…haha

The concert sequence went something like this….

I’ve just returned from the concert, “Christmas with Corrinne May”, held at the Esplanade. As to be expected, it was a spectacular evening filled with heartwarming songs presented in a soulful, meaningful manner.

Each song was rendered in the same lush manner by Corrinne May, who was dressed in a dark blue evening gown, backed up by an incredible band and string orchestra that was totally in sync with her piano playing. There were few hiccups, no major boo-boos except for a minor audio issue that was laughed away casually. The only complaint I have is that, at times, her voice was drowned out by the loud background music, particularly the drums and guitars.

1. Silent Night
2.
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
3. O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
4.Be Thou My Vision
5.Away in a Manger
6.Angel in Disguise
7.Beautiful Seed
8.In the Bleak Midwinter
9.What Child is This?
10.Hail Mary
11.Angels We Have Heard on High
12.O Come, All Ye Faithful
13.Do You Hear What I Hear?
14.The Answer
15.On My Way * new song
16.Five Loaves and Two Fishes * new song
17.Joy to the World
18.My Grown Up Christmas List *Encore*
19.Have Yourself a Merry Christmas

And that was it. There was an autograph session at the end of the show, but I didn’t stay for it and my camera battery was flat…Ginger should have allowed me to bring my 20D instead!
